Participation & Assumption of Risk

Welcome to Woven Kind Studio! Our goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where everyone can enjoy learning and making.

By registering for and participating in a Woven Kind Studio workshop, you acknowledge that sewing and other fiber arts involve the use of tools and equipment, including but not limited to sewing machines, irons, scissors, rotary cutters, pins, needles, and other sharp or heated objects. While we make every effort to provide a safe learning environment, participation carries inherent risks, including minor cuts, punctures, burns, strains, or other injuries.

By participating, you voluntarily assume all ordinary risks associated with the workshop.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release and hold harmless Woven Kind Studio, its owner, instructors, assistants, volunteers, venue partners, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your participation in the workshop, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Nothing in this waiver is intended to waive rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Health & Safety

Participants agree to:

• Follow all safety instructions provided by instructors.

• Use tools and equipment responsibly.

• Immediately notify the instructor of any unsafe condition or injury.

• Participate only if they are physically able to safely do so.

Woven Kind Studio reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior creates a safety risk for themselves or others.

Personal Property

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings, including sewing machines, tools, electronics, and other items brought to class.

Woven Kind Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Workshop Materials

Unless otherwise stated, workshop fees include the materials listed in the workshop description.

Participants are welcome to take home any completed projects and any remaining workshop materials specifically designated for them.

Photography & Media

Woven Kind Studio may photograph or record workshops for use on its website, social media, and other marketing materials.

If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please let your instructor know before the workshop begins, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

Age Requirements

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless otherwise stated in the workshop description.

Agreement

By completing your registration, you acknowledge that:

• You have read and understand these Workshop Terms & Liability Waiver.

• You understand the nature of the activities and voluntarily choose to participate.

• You agree to follow all instructor directions and safety guidelines.

• You agree to these terms as a condition of participating in the workshop.
